Hindersby is a village in northern Europe about 25 km from the sea in southern Finland. It is in the region Nyland (Newland) and the municipality Lappträsk (Lake of Lapps). It has been a Swedish village since the arrival of Swedish farmers about 7-800 years ago (nobody knows exactly).
The teleoperators didn’t care much about our village. We had only slow modem and ISDN connections. When the municipality in January 2003 decided to dig water pipes in our village we immediately decided to put down optical fibre cables at the same time. Before that we had plans to build a WLAN network in the village. Click on the the button to learn about our network.
